Auctions At Your Site

When dealing with larger estates and liquidation’s, it may be more practical to hold the auction at your site. We have the equipment and know how to get the job done right. We have two trucks with auction toppers, portable PA systems, wireless computer systems to handle up to 3 auction rings at the same time and a mobile office. Plus, trailers and tables to show your items properly. We offer same day settlements for most auctions. We have worked with sellers who wanted to do the bulk of the set up for their auction and we have worked with sellers who gave us the keys to the property and had us set up the entire sale. Whatever your needs, we can help you pick a plan that is best for you. Advertising is a separate charge for an on site auction. There is no out of pocket expense, we place and pay for the ads and deduct them from your check. We make recommendations as to where to advertise and you can either add, reduce, or use our suggestions. We print our auction flyers “in house” in either color or black and white. This allows us to make them as needed and eliminates waste and saves you money. We also pre-sort our mailings. Your auction flyer can be mailed 1st class for 33 cents a piece. The most common asked question by people when choosing an auctioneer is “what is your commission rate?” There are too many variables to have standard rate. We will charge you a rate that allows us to give you a 1st class job. Assume your auction is conducted properly and the gross sales amount is $20,000. If your auctioneer charges 10% your check before advertising would $18,000. Now assume you picked an auctioneer who charged 8% but cut corners and the auction only grossed $19,000. Your check before advertising would be $17,480. In this case, paying less commission would cost you $520. You see, choosing an auction company based on the percentage they charge is not a good idea.
